Giveaways on Facebook

I love to give stuff away. I do it a lot on Facebook. I might have a month long event, a flash contest; I may have a poll or post a picture and one commenter will win a prize....or all commenters will win a prize!

Last month, I posted some pics of different cards made using the same stamp set, Merry Patterns. I asked each person to comment with their favorite card. Everyone who responded was promised a reward. Well, I was feeling very generous and those who responded have been very loyal, so I offered each person their choice of stamps from my stashket of stamps that I purchase specifically to give away. Some are current, some are no longer available, all are adorable.

Not only did I let them choose a stamp set, I made 2 projects for each person, using my copy of the stamp sets they chose, along with samples crafted using stamp sets, designer paper, and other things from the new Holiday Catalog. I included the largest stamp block for those who are new to stamping, along with a black stamp pad.

Here are the projects I included in each package:

A Twix candy bar never looked so cute. A mummy whose mommy made sure his eyes and ears were showing! Don't you love his treat bag? This is actually the Cookie Cutter Halloween Stamp Set, which is no longer available, but....the Cookie Cutter Punch IS and you can punch your little guy out and decorate him any way you want to, for any holiday. And there is an adorable little stamp set that goes with the punch: Cookie Cutter Christmas

A Hershey miniature (who can eat just one?) and a skeleton who just needed to dress up for Halloween so he donned a red bowtie, and decided he was still too drab, so he added a little extra "skullor". The paper wrapping the candy is from the Painted Autumn set.

What little vampire can't pass up a sucker? All dressed up for the occasion, these little Dumdums are perfect for your tiniest tricksters. He even brings his bat along.

Enough Halloween treats, how about some cute little Thanksgiving place cards to add to your Fall tablescape? These little scarecrows are just too darn cute! And a little trick---use your stamp set to stamp some inexpensive cloth napkins from the dollar store, or a package of handkerchiefs to use as napkins. Stamp the image in one corner of the napkin for a little extra cutesy detail!

The place cards are really so simple....just a tent fold, and they stand up. Or  you could set them in mini-corn cobs, into a mini-pumpkin, on a pinecone......the possibilities are endless. This is a great family project, or job for the kids while you are cooking that turkey and dressing!

A double-sided gift tag made with Christmas Around the World DSP. I love this paper. Each sheet has 2 sides with beautiful images.

Here are some of the items used in these projects,
