ANOTHER Facebook Giveaway??? Coffee Break Time!

As you can tell, we have some nice giveaways on my Facebook page.  When the new Holiday Catalog came in, I asked each one of my customers, on the catalog mailing list, to post a picture of their catalog upon receiving it, to their timeline and  tag me in the post. One name was drawn from those who posted on their timeline. The winner received a $25 gift certificate. I decided to throw a little extra in, like with the prizes from other drawings and contests.

The winner wanted the Coffee Cafe Stamp Set,
so I threw in a set of 6x6 sheets of the cute double-sided Coffee Break Designer Series Paper.

and the trio of matching ribbons
and matching folded cardstock notecards to make 12 greeting cards

and different sizes of cut stock for stamping images and sentiments
and envelopes to match
and a few cards to use as examples and for the winner to share with family, friends, or business associate

I feel another giveaway coming on....so Like and Follow my Facebook page now! You don't want to miss out!

Free Stamp Sets Come With Cards!

After making some samples for each of my prize winners, I made 2 cards for each person using stamp sets like the ones they picked out. I hope each person will not only use the cards I made to brighten someone's day....but make some similar on their own! Unfortunately, these stamp sets were available for a limited time only.....but there are other similar stamp sets that would be ideal for making cards like these.

Avant Garden
These cards are made using Whole Lot of Lovely and Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper...both of which are gorgeous papers. I would love wallpaper in either of these patterns!

Designer Tee
These stamps are using Petal Garden Designer Series Paper. Isn't it beautiful. That flowered paper is so pretty, even Binx the Craft Cat loves it.

Hey Chick
This was one of the most sought after stamps sets in Stampin' Up history. We suspect it may be included in the next annual catalog next spring, because it was so popular. The Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper is perfect with it.

Make a Medallion
This stamp set was a beautiful accent for the Eastern Beauty Stamp Set and the Eastern Palace Designer Series Paper, both of which are still available. These cards are made using the Eastern Palace DSP.

Here are some of the items used in these projects. Click on the picture for more information:

Facebook Giveaways Pt2

Yesterday, I was sharing some of the projects that I included in the prize packages for those who commented on a Facebook page post. Here are the other projects and samples that I included in everyone's package.  They were a lot of fun to make.

I just love this stamp set. The Christmas tree with the beachy ornaments, the beach cottages and the trees with lights in them, just make it the cutest set. What fun they would be for your favorite beach lover, for an invitation for a weekend beach retreat. I made a birthday card for a beach boy, putting a shell over the wreath at the top of the cottages.

I added a little irridescent embossing powder on some of the ornaments, and with my trusty heat gun, made it look like glistening sand! It's the little details that made cards special, original, fun.

I love the tree, but these little cottages and palm trees are just too stinkin' cute! Don't you think?

Using dimensionals, I made the front cottage and the palm trees stand out, giving them a little 3D effect. And of course, you must have some tinsel garland!

I LOVE this stamp set, too. I am crazy about just about anything retro, especially from the Donna Reed era! This set is so cute. It has other images besides just the lady at the mail box, but this is the one I chose to make a sample.

I hope you can see the cuffs and neck of her top, the pompom on her cap, and the fur on her boots. I used White embossing powder to give it texture. I just love her, right down to her gloves and purse.

This is a pretty little set. Who doesn't love sunflowers and Brown-eyed Susans? This was such a quick and easy card sample to make, but looks so pretty and Autumny! I used copper metallic paper and a copper mesh ribbon to dress it up a little bit.

These are the sample projects, each one took just a few minutes. Each stamp set holds a variety of possibilities.....limited only by your imagination (or your ability to google the name of the stamp set!). In my next post,  I will share the cards that I included in each package that were made with stamp sets like the ones the recipients picked out.

These are the samples that were in each package:
